Natural Remedies for Dogs

You can treat minor ailments such as dry skin, stomach upset from natural and home remedies. Natural remedies are cheap and easy to administer. Here are some natural remedies to use for dogs:
CBD Oils
This is a compound that is contained in cannabis. Good CBD oils are free of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). CBD can be made in the form of oils or treats.
CBD oils have proven to cure most neuropathic pain and control seizure and epilepsy, which is common in dogs. It is also used for appetite stimulation, cardiac benefits, reducing inflammation, reducing anxiety and stress, and fighting cancer cells. Restlessness in dogs is very common. Administering CBD oils helps in calming the dog.
Yogurt for Yeast Infection
Plain or natural yogurt is good for your dog. Plain yogurt contains live bacteria, which prevents yeast infections, mostly in puppies. The bacteria is responsible for creating a balance in the intestines.
You can give your dog yogurt by directly mixing it in the food. Small dogs can be fed one teaspoon and big dogs two teaspoons once a week. If your dog has lactose intolerance or allergies related to dairy products, avoid this.
Vitamin E Oil for Healthy Skin
Antioxidants in the skin, causing aging and damage the skin. According to research, it has been found that Vitamin E oil helps to fight to age. Your dog’s skin can be affected by the sun; Vitamin E oil will protect against UV radiation.
As it is used in humans for moisturizing the skin, it can be used for the same purpose in dogs. Massage a considerable amount of Vitamin E on your dog’s skin occasionally, and you will note the difference. There is no effect when the dog licks off the skin because the oil is all-natural.
Apple Cider Vinegar for Cleaning the Ears
As it is known, apple cider vinegar has been used in plenty of cleaning activities because of its antiseptic nature. It is efficient in cleaning a dog’s ear. Sometimes itching and scratching of the ear can be a result of dirt.
All you need to do is prepare a solution of half apple cider vinegar and half purified water. Hold the dog still and use cotton to clean by soaking it in the solution. Clean until there’s no more debris coming out. Apple cider vinegar can also be sprayed on the skin to prevent itching and drying.
Chamomile and Herbal Tea for Stomach Upsets and Skin Irritation
Chamomile has soothing property, which reduces skin irritation. Herbal tea, such as green tea have the same effects. According to research, they reduce inflammation of the mucous membrane and reduce the stomach’s inflammation, which causes discomfort and upsets.
Soothing can be done by soaking chamomile or herbal tea bags in a bathtub for 3 minutes and bathing your dog for 5-10 minutes. Alternatively, you can put the chamomile tea in a spray bottle, allow it to cool, and spray on the skin for an immediate soothing effect.
